Hi Room Twenty Lovelies,
Here is the first padlet for this term! Your question is: Do you think Auggie will go to school? If so, what might his first day be like? If not, why might he decide not to go?
Follow this link to tell me your thoughts. http://padlet.com/jbutler10/beachlands20
Also, here is a preview of our "Wonder" wall!

Science-Friction
On Wednesday 23rd July we learnt about
friction. Friction is made by two objects pushing together. We tested marbles
rolling on four different surfaces – a table top, concrete, grass, and sand. We
all had a go at predicting and surprisingly the results for our group were:
Table top 1m+, concrete 55cm, grass 20cm, and sand 40cm!!!!!

OK Crew
On Friday the 25th of July the OK crew came to our school.
They were incredible, their dance moves were amazing. There were two girls. One
was 19 years old and the other was 9 years old. There was also a boy that was
17 years old and their dad. They were at Beachlands School because it was Māori
week. They talked about the native birds.
